Chloe's Creative Cards Collection - Issue 17 - Stamp-Along Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

In issue 17 of Chloe's Creative Cards Collection box kit, Chloe created a beautiful stamp-along project featuring a glittery snow scene complete with houses, a snowman, post box, and snow-capped trees and hills. You will have noticed, however, that within the magazine you don't receive the full instructions on how to create the card. This is because we wanted to bring you this bonus project in the form of a Stamp-Along. To create this sweet festive card, you will need the kit content from the new Chloe's Creative Cards Collection Issue 17 along with a selection of other materials, detailed below and in the FREE downloadable PDF project sheet. You will be stamping, colouring, heat-embossing, and glittering to your heart's content within this Stamp-along, so you're bound to have lots of fun re-creating the look!

Here's a larger shot of the card that we're going to be recreating - look at all the great techniques and cheery bright colours that you'll be using!

Chloe has created full step-by-step instructions and material listing for you to follow along, but to make it even easier for you, we've also created a downloadable, printable version that you'll be able to go back to time and time again. This digital PDF even has all the products linked to our website, so if there's anything you need to buy, you can simply click on the product and it will take you through to the relevant product page on our website. Please note, items that aren't available on our website will have no links. You can also substitute certain items if you don't have them in your craft stash.

Materials:

      Instructions:

1 Trim a sheet of Vista mirror card to 7¾” square and affix to the base card. Trim snowflake-patterned paper to 7½” square and affix to the base card. Trim a sheet of white card to 7” square, edge using a chisel-tip glue pen, cover with Crystallina glitter, and affix to the base card using foam pads.

2 Trim white card to 6¾” square. Cut out the scene from the topper set and affix it across the top of the panel. To fill the gap at the bottom, tear some hills from white card, apply PVA glue to the top of and across the hills to create a snowy look, then cover with Crystallina glitter. Allow to dry, then adhere all elements onto the panel.

3 Stamp the houses, post box, snowman (twice) and letters (three times) onto white card using a Versafine inkpad. Cover with Clear Gloss Superfine embossing powder and heat to set.

4 Using alcohol markers, colour in the stamped images. For a cohesive look, you can copy the colours from the printed papers for the houses.

5 Cut out the elements. For the snowman, cut one out whole, and for the other, just cut the hat and scarf out. Assemble with foam pads.

6 Apply PVA glue to the holly leaves on the post box and cover with Mint Crisp Sparkelicious glitter.

7 Apply PVA glue to the houses, snowman and post box, then cover with Crystallina glitter to create a snowy effect.

8 Arrange the elements onto the card. Affix the two back houses flat and then use foam pads for the other elements.

9 Cut out a sentiment from the paper pack, matt onto Vista mirror card, and affix to the base card using foam pads. To complete the card, use PVA glue to add snow to the snowy scene.
