Golden Wreath - Gilded Christmas Card Tutorial

Golden Wreath - Gilded Christmas Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

There's something very elegant and timeless about a white and gold colour scheme, and that's exactly what we have in store for you in today's card tutorial. Our very own Rebecca has created this design using the new Gilded Christmas collection, and we're sure that you will agree with us when we say it's a truly stunning Christmas card that would be equally beautiful as a framed picture.

Read on for a full, step-by-step project tutorial, complete with a materials list that has been linked, allowing you to click on each product and be directed to its respective web page, making shopping easy.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Trim Quartz pearl card down to 7¾” square. Apply a thin line of Dries-Clear glue around the edge of the panel and cover in Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads. Trim foiled paper down to 7 ½” square and affix to the card using foam pads.

2 Die-cut a gilded square from white card and edge with a chisel-tip glue pen. Cover in Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads.

3 Die-cut a square from Quartz pearl card and affix to the card using foam pads. Stamp out the sentiment into the centre of the panel using a clear embossing inkpad and heat-emboss using Polished Gold embossing powder. Edge the square with a thin line of glue and cover in Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads.

4 Stamp out the wreath and some baubles onto Quartz pearl card using a clear embossing inkpad and heat-emboss using Polished Gold embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Glitter the wreath using Salted Caramel and Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitters. Affix to the card using a double layer of foam pads. Add a few crystals to the wreath. Glitter the baubles using Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter and affix to the wreath using foam pads.

5 Stamp out three bows onto Quartz pearl card and heat-emboss using Polished Gold embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating die and affix to the wreath using 3D glue gel. Add a Sparkler to the centre. Add a few dots of glue to the background around the wreath and cover in Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter to finish.
