Hello Crafters,

We have this pretty summery lemon and white birthday card for you today, made by our incredible DT member, Christine. Featuring the brand-new Botanical Blooms collection, Christine's pretty layout is perfect for nature lovers everywhere.

Read on for a full step-by-step project tutorial, complete with a materials list that has been linked so you can click on each product to be sent to its respective web page, making it easy for you to shop.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Create a card blank using the largest die from the Gilded Squares die set. Using the same die, cut a panel from Crystal White pearl card. Add Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter to the debossed edging using the quickie glue pen and affix to the card blank using dries-clear glue. Using the second-largest Gilded Squares die, cut a panel from yellow patterned paper from the Best of Collection paper pad. Add Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter to the debossed edging using the quickie glue pen and affix to the card blank using foam pads.

2 Using the second-largest Gilded Rectangle die, cut a sheet of white card covered with the double-sided adhesive sheet. This will be the bottom layer. For the top layer, use the same die to cut Crystal White pearl card. Die-cut into this panel using the Lace Circle solid frame die. Remove the protective backing sheet from the bottom layer and affix the top layer to it, then infill with Lemon Drop Sparkelicious glitter. Add Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter to the debossed edging using the quickie glue pen and affix to the card blank using dries-clear glue.

3 Die-cut Crystal White pearl card using the third-smallest die from the Lace Circle die set. Stamp the sentiment onto this panel using the clear embossing pad, cover with Polished Silver Super Fine embossing powder and heat-set. Affix to the centre of the card, as shown, using foam pads.

4 Using the Exquisite Flower cut and emboss folder, cut six large and six medium flowers from white vellum. Using a blending brush, colour the flowers on the reverse using the Squeezed Lemonade inkpad. Using the Quickie glue pen, add Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter to the embossed veins on each petal. Shape the flowers by pinching the centre of each petal and layer up to give two large and two medium flowers with three layers of vellum to each flower. Add a yellow pearl from the Candy Pearl Box to the centre of each flower, and affix the flowers to the card front, as shown, using glue gel.

5 Fussy cut five branches from the Fabulous Foliage foiled acetate. Add dots of dries-clear adhesive to the tip of each branch and cover with Lemon Drop Sparkelicious glitter. Once dry, affix to either side of the flowers using glue gel.

6 Using the Butterfly Embellishments die set, cut two each of three different yellow butterflies from the Tiny Butterfly Embellishments vellum paper pad.  Add Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter to the printed details on each of the butterflies using the Quickie glue pen and layer together to give three double-layered butterflies. Add Luscious Yellow Self-Adhesive Sparkles to the centre of each butterfly and affix to the card front, as shown, using dries-clear adhesive to finish.
