You are Amazing - Botanical Blooms Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

Today's card tutorial, using the recent Botanical Blooms collection, is a delightful design, perfect for a whole range of occasions, from birthdays to congratulations. We have the super-talented Glynis to thank for this gorgeous design, with a bright and zesty pink-and-lime-green colourway.

Read on for a full step-by-step project tutorial, complete with a materials list linked so you can click each product to be taken to its respective web page, making it easy to shop.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Place the outer die from the Exquisite Lace Rectangle die set just over the fold on the base card and die-cut. Secure a panel of coloured paper from the Best of Collection paper pad onto white card, die-cut using the same size die as before, and adhere it to the base card.

2 Die-cut the two main rectangle dies in white card. Colour the flowers and foliage using marker pens and decorate with Crystallina and Lime Zing Sparkelicious glitters and secure in place using Art Glitter glue around the edges and back of the flowers. Cut the middle three smaller dies in white card and paper from the paper pad. Cover the largest one with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter, colour the middle one with Oxide ink, then secure all three in place, using foam pads for the top two.

3 For the large sentiment, colour scrap white card using Picked Raspberry Oxide ink. Place the A4 double-sided sticky sheet on top and cut the outer die. Cut the word ‘Amazing’ in white card, then remove the cover on the outer die and carefully attach the white die-cut and cover with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Stamp and heat-emboss the smaller sentiment onto white card using Cherry Soda embossing powder and the clear embossing inkpad. Affix to coloured card, as before, then secure both panels onto the main base card using foam tape.

4 Die-cut the Blooming Flowers die set onto white card. Colour with the Oxide ink, cover with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter, then adhere the flowers together and secure onto the base card with 3D glue gel. Decorate the flower and Lacy background with pearls from the Leafy Lace Bling Box to finish.
