How to Make a Snowman and Snowflake Christmas Card

Nothing says Christmas more than a Snowman and Snowflake Christmas Card, am I right? We've put together this beautiful, sparkly (of course!) step-by-step tutorial to help you make this stunning design time and time again. But, just think, you can change up the colours of the stencil paste & embossing powders to create your own design for the Snowman and Snowflake Christmas Card.

Snowman and Snowflake Christmas Card Close Up

You’ll need:

Sparkelicious Glitter - Princess
 
Sparkelicious Glitter - Holly Green
Die-cutting machine
Circle Dies
White Card
Versamark
Heat Gun
8" x 8" Base Card
Black, Green and Red marker Pens
Glossy Accents
Red jewels
Snowman Christmas Card

Snowman and Snowflake Christmas Card Instructions:

Step 1

Apply the stencil paste to the snowflake stencil on white card.

Step 2

Remove and cover with the 'Put on your Dancing Shoes' Sparkelicious and put to one side to completely dry.

Step 3

Mat and layer a piece of the Jupiter Pearl card onto the base card with 3D foam tape.

Step 4

Glitter around the edges of a piece of white card with the Princess Sparkelicious and attach to the red card.

Step 5

Cut the Stencilled Snowflake card down to suit and mat and layer this onto Jupiter Pearl card and attach with 3D foam tape.

Step 6

Cut out two different size circles in red and then white, stamp and heat emboss the white one with the Snowflake stamp and Silver Dollar embossing powder, secure the two circles together with foam tape and layer onto the base card.

Step 7

Stamp with Memento the snowman twice and colour using the maker pens.

Step 8

Cut the hat and scarf out from one of them and decoupage the pieces, add the glossy accents to the eyes, buttons, nose, and hat and attach the hands.

Step 9

Glitter the scarf with the Holly Green Sparkelicious and attach the snowman onto the base card with foam tape.

Step 10

Stamp, heat emboss and die cut the separate snowflakes, build these up and glue into place

Step 11

Finish off placing red jewels in the middle of the stamped snowflakes.
