Winter Bloom - Starlit Christmas Card Tutorial – Chloes Creative Cards

YOU WILL NEED:

- 8x8” foiled paper pad – Starlit Christmas
- 3D embossing folder – Winter Bloom Flower

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Take an 8x8” Lapis Lazuli pearl card panel and, using a chisel-tip glue pen, edge with Shimmering Silver Sparkelicious glitter. Do the same with a 7½x7½” Quartz pearl card panel. Trim a sheet of paper from the Starlit Christmas paper pad to 7x7” and edge with Shimmering Silver Sparkelicious glitter. Matt onto the Quartz card. Affix the Lapis Lazuli panel directly onto your card base and then matt the Quartz panel on top with foam pads.

2 Die-cut two frames from the Gilded Squares 4 nesting dies, one in Lapis Lazuli and one in Quartz pearl card. Using a quickie glue pen, glitter the debossed areas using Shimmering Silver Sparkelicious glitter. Matt and layer together.

3 Stamp and heat-emboss the ‘Merry & Bright’ sentiment with Mercury Glass embossing powder onto Quartz pearl card. Die-cut around it using the 3¼x4½” oval die and then die-cut another oval sized 3½x4¾” in Lapis Lazuli. Glitter both ovals with Starlit Silver Sparkelicious glitter.

4 Using the Winter Bloom Flower cut and emboss folder, cut out the Winter Bloom Flowers three times in Quartz pearl card. Slightly pinch each petal edge to shape them and then glue each layer together using 3D glue gel. Set aside to dry. Die-cut one large stamen and two smaller stamens in Lapis Lazuli pearl card.

5 Using an embossing inkpad and Starlit Navy embossing powder, stamp out foliage from the Christmas Bouquet Builder set onto heat-resistant acetate, then cut them out. Assemble your card, as shown, arranging the foliage behind the flowers. Glue the stamens and sparklers onto your flowers and adhere to your card using 3D glue gel to finish.
