Navy Flowers - Starlit Christmas Collection Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

Today's elegant Christmas card tutorial, created by the super-talented Rebecca, would look equally stunning as a box-framed art piece for the festive home. Using the Starlit Christmas collection, along with a variety of core essentials from the Chloe's Creative Cards product range, Rebecca has crafted this stylish design that really catches the eye.

Read on for a full step-by-step project tutorial, complete with a linked materials list so you can click each product to go to its respective web page, making it easy to shop.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Trim a sheet of silver mirror card to 7¾” square and affix to the card using dries-clear glue. Trim a sheet of white card to 7½” square and affix to the card using foam pads. Finally, trim a sheet of foiled paper to 7¼” square and affix to the card using dries-clear glue.

2 Stamp out the larger snowflake trails to create a frame onto Lapis Lazuli pearl card using a clear embossing inkpad and heat-emboss using Starlit Silver sparkle embossing powder. Stamp and emboss some of the other smaller stamps to add more detail to the frame. Trim the panel, matt, and layer it first onto white card, then onto silver mirror card. Affix to the card using foam pads. Add a rhinestone to the centre of each snowflake.

3 Stamp out the sentiment from the Starlit Square stamp set onto Lapis Lazuli pearl card and heat-emboss using Polished Silver embossing powder. Trim and affix to the centre of the square.

4 Cut and emboss three large, three medium and three small flowers from Lapis Lazuli pearl paper. Apply dots of dries-clear glue to the centre of each flower and cover in Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Once dry, shape the petals by curling each one. Layer together with 3D glue gel, then affix to the card.

5 Cut out and glitter some of the festive foliage using Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Once dry, carefully tuck in behind the flowers using 3D glue gel.
