Birthday Wishes - 3D Cut and Emboss Folder card tutorial

YOU WILL NEED:

• 8x8" base card
• Floral Cascade 3D Cut and Emboss Folder
• Aquamarine glitter card
• Amethyst and Crystal White Pearl cardstock
• Spring Collection Bling Box
• Birthday Sentiment Builder Stamp and Die Set
• Watercolour Washes paper pad
• Caribbean Sunset, Crystallina, Sweet Violet, Diamante Sparkle, Silver Frost and Parakeet Sparkelicious glitter
• A4 double-sided sticky sheet
• Encore Metallic Purple inkpad
• WOW Clear Gloss embossing powder
• Lilac metallic ribbon
• Lilac marker pen
• Foam pads
• Art Glitter Dries-Clear glue
• Pinflair glue
• Die-cutting machine
• Heat gun

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Mat and layer a piece of patterned paper from the Watercolour Washes paper pad on to Crystal White Pearl card. Add Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter around all four sides and attach to the base card with foam pads.

2 Next, mat and layer a piece of Amethyst Pearl cardstock onto Crystal White Pearl cardstock. Add Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter to all four sides, then secure a piece of lilac metallic ribbon down the left-hand side and attach it to the base card with foam pads.

3 Place a piece of Crystal White Pearl cardstock into the Floral Cascade 3D Cut and Emboss Folder and run through the die cutting machine with the open end going in first. Use the folder again for extra flowers, but this time with Amethyst Pearl cardstock.

4 Colour the large and small flowers on the topper with a lilac marker pen. Add Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter to the small flowers, Caribbean Sunset and Silver Frost Sparkelicious glitter to the berries and twigs, and Parakeet Sparkelicious glitter to the leaves.  

5 Fussy cut the extra amethyst flowers, add Sweet Violet Sparkelicious glitter, attach to the topper with Pinflair glue, and secure a jewel into the middle of all the flowers from the Spring Collection Bling Box.

6 Cover a small piece of white cardstock with the A4 double-sided sticky sheet and die-cut the 'Birthday' from the Birthday Sentiment Builder Stamp and Die Set. Remove the top covering and sprinkle with Caribbean Sunset Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut the outer die to the 'Birthday' in white cardstock, attach both together and secure onto the main base card with foam pads.

7 Stamp and heat-emboss the 'Wishes' onto white cardstock using a purple inkpad and WOW Clear Gloss embossing powder. Mat and layer onto amethyst cardstock and attach with foam pads.
