Today, we're sharing this 'sweet' candy cane Christmas card, made using the latest release - Candy Cane Lane. Our super-talented Design Team member, Glynis has created this eye-catching card, made in traditional red, white, and green colours, with spectacular results.

- Candy Cane Lane collection:
- Basic Ovals die set
- Holly Frames die set
- Bling Box – Spring Collection
- Sparkelicious glitter – Ocean Paradise and Crystallina
- Mirror card – Azalea
- Pearl card – Crystal White
- Ranger Glossy Accents
- Versafine Clair Black inkpad
- WOW! embossing powder – Clear Gloss
- Pinflair glue gel
- Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue
- Foam pads on a roll
- Marker pens
- 8x8" white straight-edged card blank
- Heat tool
- Die-cutting machine
1 Trim a sheet of Azalea mirror card down to just smaller than the base card and then adhere in position. Die-cut the largest die from the Holly Frames die set in Crystal White pearl card, go around the outer edges with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and then attach to the base card with foam pads. Matt and layer Azalea mirror card and plain paper from the Candy Cane Lane paper pad on top and decorate the edges of the frame with jewels from the Spring Collection Bling Box.
2 For the next layer, trim three different size matts in Azalea mirror card, Crystal White pearl card (glittering the edges of this one with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter), and patterned paper from the Candy Cane Lane paper pad. Adhere all three together and secure onto the base card with foam pads.
3 Using the Basic Ovals die set, cut one in Azalea mirror card and then a smaller one in patterned paper from the Candy Cane Lane paper pad, edging the patterned paper oval with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Matt and layer together then attach to the base card with foam pads.
4 Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut all the elements from the Candy Cane stamp and die set onto Crystal White pearl card using Versafine Clair Black ink and WOW! Clear Gloss embossing powder. Colour with assorted marker pens, add Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter to the candy canes and Ocean Paradise Sparkelicious glitter to the holly leaves. Attach all to the base card with Pinflair glue gel, securing a jewel from the Bling Box into the middle of the bow. Dot the Art Glitter glue around the candy canes and cover with Ocean Paradise Sparkelicious glitter.
5 Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment from the Gingerbread Sentiment stamp set on to Crystal White pearl card. Decorate with marker pens and Glossy Accents, then, once dry, matt and layer onto Azalea mirror card and attach to the main card with a foam pad to finish.
