Confetti Star - Christmas Fashionista Card Tutorial

• Rose Quartz, Kunzite, and Crystal White pearl cardstock
• Spring Collection and Sugared Pastels Bling Boxes 
• Sugared Lilac luxe ribbon
• Pinflair 3D glue gel 
• Chloe’s Creative Cards Chisel-Tip Glue Pen 
• Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue with fine-tip applicator 
• 2mm and 3mm foam pads
• Die-cutting machine

 

  

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Trim a sheet of Rose Quartz pearl cardstock down to 7½” square and edge using a chisel-tip glue pen and Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card blank using Dries-Clear PVA glue. Trim Crystal White pearl cardstock down to 7¼” square and edge in Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter before adhering to the card blank using foam pads. Trim one of the Christmas Fashionista foiled patterned papers to 7” square, edge using Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter, then affix to the card using foam pads. 

2 Cut a sheet of Kunzite pearl cardstock to 6¼” and edge using Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter. Adhere to the card, at an angle, using foam pads. Trim Crystal White pearl cardstock to 6” square and edge in Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter before attaching to the card using Dries-Clear PVA glue. Trim a sheet of foiled patterned paper to 5¾” square, edge in Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter and affix to the card using foam pads. 

3 Cut the first star die from Rose Quartz pearl cardstock and the second star die from Kunzite pearl cardstock. Edge in Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter and affix both to the card using foam pads. Next, cut the third die from Crystal White pearl card. Stamp the confetti star and heat-emboss using Pretty in Pink embossing powder. Add dots of glue around the star and cover in Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter. Add crystals from both Bling Boxes in different sizes. Affix to the card using foam pads. 

4 Stamp out a sentiment from the set and heat-emboss using Lilac Aurora embossing powder. Trim into a tag shape and add to the corner of the card using 3D glue gel. Tie a triple bow and adhere to the corner, then add a crystal to the centre.  

5 Stamp out the ‘fa la la’ sentiment onto Crystal White pearl cardstock and heat-emboss using Lilac Aurora embossing powder. Fussy-cut the sentiment and add to the centre of the card using foam pads. 

6 Stamp out six small stars and heat-emboss using Pretty in Pink and Lilac Aurora embossing powders. Fussy cut and add to the card using 3D glue gel. Finally, add three crystals to a few corners of the cards.
