Favourite Things - 6x6" & 5x7" Decorative Dies Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

When time is short but you still want to create a card with big impact, look no further than this quick and easy card tutorial by the fabulous Glynis. Using a delightful combination of products, including the brand-new 6x6" and 5x7" Decorative die collection, Glynis manages to create this wonderful birthday card in just a few easy steps.

YOU WILL NEED: 

         

        INSTRUCTIONS:

        Trim down three different size matts in Rose Quartz mirror card, Crystal White pearl card (glittering the four sides of this one using Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter), and patterned paper from the Flower Power paper pad. Matt and layer the three together and adhere to the card blank with foam pads.

        2 Using the Oval Decorative die set, cut numbers one and three in Crystal White pearl card and glitter around the outside of each one using Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut numbers two and four in patterned paper from the Flower Power paper pad, then matt and layer the three panels together and secure onto the base card with foam pads. Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment from the Birthday Happiness A6 stamp set onto the smallest patterned die-cut panel using Metallic Silver embossing powder. Matt and layer onto the smaller Oval Decorative die-cut panel and adhere to the main card with foam pads.

        3 Cover a sheet of Lagoon pearl card with the A4 double-sided sticky sheet, die-cut numerous times using the Leafy Foliage die set, then remove the top off the sticky sheet and cover with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter.

        4 Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut the flowers from the Flower Power stamp and die set using coloured paper from the Leafy Lace A4 paper pad and Bright White embossing powder. Cover the petals using Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter then shape and mould the petals, adhere together with glue gel, and secure a jewel from the Sparklers collection into the middle of each flower. Arrange the foliage and flowers onto the main card and secure in place with glue gel to finish.
