Favourite Things - Floral Frames and Flutters Collection Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

Die-cutting fans will be in heaven spending an afternoon recreating today's card tutorial by our talented Glynis. A wide range of dies, including ones from the brand-new Floral Frames and Flutters collection have been used to create this fabulous, multi-dimensional birthday card!

YOU WILL NEED: 

• Floral Frames and Flutters collection:
• Elegant Flower die set
• Fabulous Foliage foiled acetate
• Fabulous Florals and Flutters 8x8” paper pad
• Scalloped and Pierced die set - Squares
• Enchanted Mandala metal die set
• Leafy Foliage die set
• Berry Foliage die set
• Stamen die set
• Birthday Happiness A6 stamp set
• A4 printed paper pad – Pastel Sorbet
• Matt mirror card – Amethyst
• Mirror card – Amethyst 
• Bling Boxes – Leafy Lace and Chloe’s Favourites
• Sparkelicious glitter – Crystal Crush, Crystallina, Diamante Sparkle, and Flamingo
• Versafine Clair Black inkpad
• WOW! embossing powder – Clear Gloss
• Pinflair glue gel
• Chloe’s Chisel-Tip glue pen
• Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue
• Foam pads on a roll
• 8x8” white straight-edged card blank
• Heat tool
• Die-cutting machine

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Trim down a sheet of Amethyst matt mirror card and secure onto the base card. Using the largest die from the Scalloped and Pierced Squares die set, cut from Crystal White pearl card, and go around the four sides using Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut the second die in the set with Amethyst matt mirror card. Trim a sheet of patterned paper from the Fabulous Florals and Flutter paper pad, go around the four sides using Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter, then matt and layer all three panels together and secure onto the base card. For the next layer, repeat as before only this time using the fifth and sixth dies from the set and secure the layer onto the base card with foam pads.

2 Die-cut the lacy die from the Enchanted Mandala set in white card and cover with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter using a Chloe’s Chisel-Tip glue pen. Cut the outer die in Amethyst matt mirror card, then matt and layer both panels and secure onto the base card with foam pads. Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment using the Birthday Happiness A6 stamp set. Die-cut with the inner dies from the set and adhere to the card with foam pads.

3 Die-cut the Floral Flutter Flower die set numerous times using paper from the Pastel Sorbet paper pad. Cover the lacy flowers with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and the full flowers with Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut the stamens in Amethyst mirror card, then glitter the tips using Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Shape the petals and adhere together along with the stamens and pearls from the Chloe’s Favourites Bling Box using Pinflair glue gel.

4 Cut out the Leafy Foliage dies from Amethyst mirror card. Cut the Berry Foliage using white card, then cover with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter and decorate with pearls from the Leafy Lace Bling Box. Fussy cut the butterflies from the Floral Frames and Flutter foiled acetate, turn the butterflies over, and from the back cover in Art Glitter Dries-Clear glue and Flamingo Sparkelicious glitter. Fussy cut the spray foliage and attach the foliage, flowers, and butterflies to the main card using Pinflair glue gel to finish.
