Golden Christmas Spirit - Gilded Christmas Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

We have a beautiful white and gold card tutorial for you today, featuring items from our recent Gilded Christmas collection. The talented Rebecca is the creative mastermind behind this design, which showcases how the various elements of the collection work in harmony with one another. This card is achievable in just a few quick and easy steps, so it's a great one for when you need to either make a card in a hurry or if you're batch-making.

Read on for a full, step-by-step project tutorial, complete with a materials list that has been linked, allowing you to click on each product and be directed to its respective web page, making shopping easy.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Die-cut the largest gilded square into the card blank, hanging the die slightly over the edge, to create a shaped card. Cut the same die from Quartz pearl card and affix to the card blank using Dries-Clear glue. Edge with a thin line of Dries-Clear glue and cover in Salted Caramel Sparkelicious glitter.

2 Die-cut the second-largest square die from foiled paper and affix to the card using foam pads.

3 Take the fourth square die and cut using Quartz pearl card. Stamp out the verse into the corner using a clear embossing inkpad. Heat-emboss using Polished Gold embossing powder. Edge the square with a thin line of Dries-Clear glue and cover in Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads.

3 Die-cut a tree from Quartz pearl card, then run it through the embossing folder to emboss the tree design. Go over the image lightly using King Gold gilding wax. Apply flicks of glue to the image and cover in Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Add dots of Dries-Clear glue to the tree and cover in Salted Caramel Sparkelicious glitter. Add a few crystals to the tree, then affix to the card using a double layer of foam pads.

4 Add scribbles of glue underneath the tree and cover in Starshine Sparkelicious glitter. Tie a triple bow and affix it to the top corner, then add a Sparkler to the centre. Add dots of Dries-Clear glue to the background around the tree and cover in Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter.
