Holly Jolly Christmas - Starlit Christmas Card Tutorial – Chloes Creative Cards

Today's card tutorial is one of those brilliant designs where it looks like it takes so much longer than it actually does - perfect for when you're in a hurry or if you need to make lots of cards in one session. We have the incredible Glynis to thank for this sweet wreath card, featuring the Starlit Christmas collection.

YOU WILL NEED:

Starlit Christmas collection:
- Stamp and die set – Starlit Holly Wreath
- 8x8” foiled paper pad – Starlit Christmas
- WOW! embossing powders – Starlit Silver and Starlit Navy
Die set – Basic Circles
Pearl card – Jupiter and Lapis Lazuli
Mirror card – Vista
Smooth white card
Sparkelicious glitters – Crystallina and Silver Crystal
WOW! clear embossing inkpad
Flower Sparklers
Nuvo Crystal Drops – Red Berry
Bling Box – Frosty Christmas
A4 double-sided sticky sheet
Foam pads on a roll
Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue
Pinflair 3D glue gel
8x8” white straight-edged card blank
WOW! heat tool
Die-cutting machine

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Create three different-sized panels in Vista mirror card, white card and patterned paper. Go around the edges of the white panel using Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and the patterned paper panel using Silver Crystal Sparkelicious glitter. Matt and layer the three together and secure onto the base card. For the next layer, do the same, only smaller, and attach to the base card using foam pads.

2 Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut the Starlit Holly Wreath using the Starlit Silver embossing powder and clear embossing inkpad onto Lapis Lazuli pearl card. Embellish with Silver Crystal Sparkelicious glitter and apply the Nuvo Crystal Drops

3 Place a sticky sheet onto white card and die-cut using a large circle from the Basic Circle die set. Remove the top from the sticky sheet and cover with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Attach the holly wreath on top using foam pads and secure onto the base card, also with foam pads.

4 Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut all the other elements from the Starlit Holly Wreath onto Jupiter pearl card. Secure around the wreath with 3D glue gel and attach a jewel from the Frosty Christmas Bling Box to the middle of each one. Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut the bow twice. Trim the tails off the top one, adhere together with a Flower Sparkle, and secure in place.

5 Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment using Starlit Navy embossing powder onto white card. Die-cut using a small circle die, matt and layer onto a Lapis Lazuli pearl circle panel and secure in place with foam pads. To finish, decorate the four corners with jewels from the Bling Box.
