How to Make a Sparkly Pink Card using Clematis Flower and Flowerburst Background

I've got a brand new YouTube tutorial for you all today and it's packed with sparkle! During this project we'll use the Flowerburst background stamp, linked up to create a large background and we'll create these fabulous sparkly flowers to embellish this glittering project!

What you'll need to create this project - 

How to make it - 

  1. Cut a piece of Rose Quartz pearl card to 7 3/4" sqauare, edge using a chisel tip glue pen and cover with Crystallia glitter, affix to base card.
  2. Cut a piece of Rose Quartz Pearl Card to 7" square, dust with an anti static bag, stamp Flowerburst background stamp across the background using a clear embossing ink pad lining up each time to create a continuous background.
  3. Cover with Opaque Bright White Superfine Embossing Powder and heat to set.
  4. Edge using a chisel tip glue pen and cover with crystallina glitter.
  5. Matt onto a piece of white card measuring 7 1/4" square, wrap a piece of white vellum around the centre of the card and affix to base card using foam pads.
  6. Die cut flag from white card, dust with an anti-static bag and stamp sentiment using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with metallic silver superfine embossing powder and heat to set, affix to base card using foam pads.
  7. Stamp 2 Large Clematis Flowers and 4 Small Clematis Flowers onto Rose Quartz Pearl Paper using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with Opaque Bright White Superfine Embossing powder and heat to set.
  8. Place dies over the top and run through die cutting machine.
  9. Apply dots of PVA glue to the stamen of the flowers and cover with Razzle Dazzle glitter.
  10. Allow glue to dry then shape flowers by holding in the centre and curling the petals between your finger and thumb.
  11. Stick flowers together by affixing in the centre with PVA glue.
  12. Affix flowers to base card using 3D Glue Gel.
  13. Stamp and emboss large leaves onto heat resistant acetate using a clear embossing ink pad, and cover with opaque bright white superfine embossing powder, heat to set.
  14. Cut out leaves and arrange behind flowers, affixing with 3D glue gel.
  15. Stamp berry sprays onto heat resistant acetate using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with Opaque Bright White Superfine embossing powder and heat to set.
  16. Cut out sprays, add dots of PVA glue onto the berries and cover with Unicorn Sparkle glitter.
  17. Allow to dry and arrange behind flowers.
  18. Complete card by embellishing with sequins, jewels and pearls.
