Joyful Christmas Wishes - Christmas Build-a-Bouquet Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

Today's card tutorial features an eye-catching floral display with a funky, retro feel to it. Our DT member extraordinaire, Glynis, has created this delightful card using the newly launched Christmas Build-a-Bouquet collection with marvellous results.

Read on for a full, step-by-step project tutorial, complete with a materials list that has been linked, allowing you to click on each product and be directed to its respective web page, making shopping easy.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Score and fold the A3 white card in half. Place the top of the largest die from the Fancy Squares die set just over the score line and die-cut. Cut another single piece from white card and attach to the base card. Using the same die set, cut numbers two, five and six in gold mirror card, numbers three and six in patterned paper from the Christmas Florals paper pad, and number seven in white card. Go around all the sides of the patterned paper and white panels with Salted Caramel Sparkelicious glitter, then matt onto the corresponding gold mirror panel. Secure the first layer flat onto the base card, and the other two with foam pads.

2 Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut the main image from the Christmas Bouquet Builder set using Earthtone Olive embossing powder onto white card. Decorate with pearls from the Frosty Christmas Bling Box and Champagne Shimmer Sparkelicious glitter.

3 Die-cut the poinsettias numerous times, colour with the Stormy Sky Oxide ink, and cover with Champagne Shimmer Sparkelicious glitter. Shape the petals and adhere together with 3D glue gel. Add a pearl from the Frosty Christmas Bling Box. Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut the foliage and Christmas Rose using Earthtone Olive ink and Polished Gold embossing powder. Colour with the marker pens and decorate, as before, using the pearls and glitter. For the Christmas Rose, attach jewels to the centres from the Beautiful Bouquet Bling Box and secure the poinsettias and foliage onto the main card with 3D glue gel. Add a couple of pearls from the Frosty Christmas Bling Box onto the white background.

4 For the bow, colour a piece of white card using the Stormy Sky Oxide Ink, die-cut, and glitter with Champagne Shimmer Sparkelicious glitter. Once dry, assemble and secure onto the base card with 3D glue gel.

5 Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut the sentiment using Polished Gold embossing powder onto white card. Matt and layer onto gold mirror card and secure in place with foam pads to finish.
