Lemon Flower Power - Flower Power Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

We have a soft and delicate birthday card to share with you today from the talented Rebecca. Rebecca has combined the newly-launched Flower Power collection with a lovely selection of complementary products from the Chloe's Creative Crafts range for this delightful creation, with breath-taking results.

YOU WILL NEED: 

     

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    Trim a sheet of lemon printed paper to 7¾” square and affix to the card blank using dries-clear glue.

    2 Die-cut the largest decorative square from Crystal White pearl card, then edge with glue using a chisel-tip glue pen and cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads.

    3 Trim silver mirror card to 6¾” square and affix to the card using dries-clear glue. Trim Crystal White pearl card to 6½” square and edge with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads. Trim a sheet of patterned paper to 6¼” square and affix to the card using dries-clear glue.

    4 Stamp the frame onto Crystal White pearl card using the clear embossing inkpad. Heat-emboss using Metallic Silver Sparkle embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating die. Matt onto silver mirror card and affix to the card using foam pads. Add dots of glue to the centres of the flowers and cover in Lemon Drop Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut the second die from printed paper. Die-cut the third die from Crystal White pearl card. Stamp the verse into the centre using the clear embossing inkpad, then heat-emboss using Metallic Silver Sparkle embossing powder. Edge in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix both layers to the card using foam pads.

    5 Die-cut nine large flowers from lemon printed paper. Using the coordinating centres, stamp into the centres of the flowers. Heat-emboss using Opaque Bright White embossing powder. Apply dots of dries-clear glue to the flowers and cover in Lemon Drop Sparkelicious glitter. Shape the flowers by creating a valley fold down the centre of each petal and layer together three flowers, offsetting each time.

    6 Die-cut three stamens from lemon paper and apply dries-clear glue to the edges. Cover in Lemon Sorbet Sparkelicious glitter and add to the centres of the flowers. Add a pearl to the middle. Die-cut three Swirly Foliage pieces and cover in glue using a chisel-tip glue pen. Cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter, then tuck in behind the flowers using 3D glue.

    7 Add some self-adhesive gems to the background and onto the sentiment plaque, then add three pearls to the remaining corners of the card to finish.
