Today's card tutorial comes to you in the form of this pretty lilac-and-white birthday card by the lovely Rebecca. Using items from the Botanical Blooms launch, this card can be easily adapted to suit a wide range of occasions.

- 8x8” foiled paper pad – Floral Lace

- Pearl paper – Crystal White
- Sparkelicious glitter – Crystal Crush and Crystallina

- 8x8” white straight-edged card blank
- WOW! heat tool
- Die-cutting machine
INSTRUCTIONS:
1 To create the fold-back card, create a fold down the centre of the front of your card blank so it folds back on itself.
2 Trim a sheet of foiled paper to 7¾” square and then, with another sheet, create two 3¾x7¾” panels. Affix to the card blank using dries-clear glue. Trim Crystal White pearl card to 7” square and 3x7”, then edge using a chisel-tip glue pen and cover with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads.
3 Trim further sheets of Crystal White pearl card to 6¾” square and 2¾x6¾”, emboss using the Pretty Petals embossing folder. Affix to the card.
4 Cover a sheet of Amethyst pearl card with a double-sided sticky sheet and use it to die-cut the outer edge die from the Exquisite Lace Circle die set twice. Die-cut the detailed layer twice from Crystal White pearl card. Adhere together and cover with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix one to the back piece of the card using dries-clear glue and the other to the front panel using foam pads. Add a pearl to the centre of each flower.
5 Die-cut one of the inner layers of the die set from Crystal White pearl card and stamp out a sentiment into the centre using a clear embossing inkpad. Heat-emboss using Polished Silver embossing powder. Edge with a chisel-tip glue pen and cover with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads.
6 Cut and emboss two large and four medium flowers from Crystal White pearl paper. Ink using Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink. Trace the embossed lines on the petals with a Quickie glue pen and cover with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Shape the petals by curling them and layer two flowers together. Affix to the card using 3D glue gel, then add a Sparkler to the centre of each flower. Affix to the card using 3D glue gel.
7 Carefully cut out some of the foliage and glitter using dries-clear glue and Grasshopper Sparkelicious glitter. Once dry, tuck in behind the flowers using 3D glue gel. Die-cut some butterflies using the vellum pad and matching die set. Shape, then cover glitter with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and affix to the card using dries-clear glue. Add a pearl to the centre of each to finish.
