Hello Crafters,
Rebecca has been getting into the festive spirit with our brand new Christmas Fashionista collection! The results are too good to keep to ourselves so we're sharing some of her modern, festive makes with you to re-create.
We are loving this elegant, stylish card she's created using the fabulous O Christmas Tree stamp and die set from the collection!
YOU WILL NEED:
- Christmas Fashionista collection:
- White Christmas, Icicle Sparkle, and Starfall Sparkelicious glitter
- WOW Diamond White embossing powder
- Lapis Lazuli and Crystal White pearl cardstock
- Silver mirror card
- Chloe’s Creative Cards Self-Adhesive Gems
- Navy satin ribbon
- Navy bling gemstone
- Pinflair glue gel
- Chloe’s Creative Cards Chisel-Tip Glue Pen
- Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue with fine-tip applicator
- 2mm and 3mm foam pads
- Die-cutting machine
INSTRUCTIONS:
1 Trim a sheet of Lapis Lazuli pearl cardstock down to 7½” square and mat onto the card blank using Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue. Trim a sheet of patterned paper from the paper pad to 7¼” and affix to the card using foam pads.
2 Next, cut another sheet of patterned paper, this time to 6¾” square, and affix to the card using foam pads. Cut a piece of crystal white pearl card to 6½” square and edge in Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue. Cover in White Christmas Sparkelicious glitter and affix to the card at an angle using foam pads.
3 Cut another sheet of Lapis Lazuli pearl cardstock to 6¼”. Using the O Christmas tree stamp set, stamp the tree and heat-emboss using the Diamond White embossing powder. Tie a piece of navy satin ribbon around this panel and affix to the card using foam pads. Tie a small piece of ribbon around the top to gather the ribbon together. Tie a bow and affix to the card using Pinflair glue gel. Add a bling gemstone to the centre.
4 Stamp and heat-emboss the tree image again onto another sheet of Lapis Lazuli pearl cardstock then die-cut using the coordinating die. Affix to the card using a double layer of foam pads. Apply Dries-Clear glue to both trees and cover in White Christmas Sparkelicious glitter. Add self-adhesive crystals to the small circle on the tree.
5 Die-cut two each of the small star dies from silver mirror card and affix to the top of each tree using glue gel. Cover the top star in Dries-Clear glue and cover in White Christmas Sparkelicious glitter. Add dots of Dries-Clear glue around the trees and add a few stars covered in Starfall Sparkelicious glitter. Add a few self-adhesive gems around the trees.
6 Stamp out a sentiment from the set onto Lapis Lazuli pearl cardstock and heat-emboss using Diamond White embossing powder. Mat and layer onto Crystal White pearl cardstock and affix to the card using Pinflair glue gel. Finish by adding three self-adhesive gems to the corners of the card.
