Wedding Arch - Wedding Collection Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,
Today, Rebecca shares a delightful wedding card that is perfect for those who aren't confident with their colouring skills but want to feature characters on their creations. Using the Wedding Arch metal die set along with the Wedding Sentiment Builder die and stamp set and the gorgeous foiled papers from the newly-launched Wedding Collection, you too could be recreating this stunning wedding card, thanks for Rebecca's in-depth instructions.

YOU WILL NEED: 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Trim Crystal White pearl card to 7¾” square. Apply glue to the edges using a chisel-tip glue pen and cover in Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads. Trim a sheet of foiled paper to 7½”-square and affix to the card using Dries-Clear PVA glue. Trim another sheet of foiled paper to 7”-square and affix to the card using foam pads. Trim another sheet of Crystal White pearl card to 6½”-square and edge using a chisel-tip glue pen and cover in Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. 

2 Die-cut the Wedding Arch from silver mirror card and affix to the card using Dries-Clear PVA glue. Die-cut some of the small flowers from Crystal White pearl card and affix to the frame, as shown, using 3D glue gel. Add a crystal to the centre of each flower. Add a few dots of glue around the arch and cover in Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Add a few more dots of glue and cover in Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter.

3 Die-cut the bride and groom from silver mirror card, Crystal White pearl card and Onyx Black pearl card. Cut the bride’s dress from the white layer and the suit from the black layer. Affix onto the silver layer using Dries-Clear PVA glue and foam pads. Apply dots of Dries-Clear PVA glue to the bride’s dress and cover in Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter and add a few self-adhesive crystals. Affix to the card using foam pads. Add a scribble of glue underneath the bride and groom and cover in Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter.

4 Die-cut the ‘Congratulations’ outer layer from Crystal White pearl card and the fine detail layer from silver mirror card. Affix together using Dries-Clear PVA glue. Add to the card using a double layer of foam pads. Stamp out a sentiment and heat-emboss using Metallic Silver Superfine Wow! embossing powder. Trim and affix to the card using foam pads.

5 Stamp out two small and two medium five-petal magnolias, and one small and one medium three-petal magnolias onto Crystal White pearl paper. Heat-emboss using Metallic Silver Superfine Wow! embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Shape by creating a valley fold in, and then curling the petals. Adhere together using 3D glue gel. Add a crystal to the centre of each flower.

6 Stamp out two leaves from the foliage set onto heat-resistant acetate and heat-emboss using Opaque Bright White Wow! embossing powder. Apply Dries-Clear PVA glue to the back and cover in Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Once dry, tuck in behind the flowers using 3D glue gel. Add a few self-adhesive sparkles to the background and to the remaining open corners to finish.
