Welcome Little Bear - Baby Collection Card Tutorial

Welcome Little Bear - Baby Collection Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

Today's super-cute card tutorial, designed by the talented Rebecca, celebrates the arrival of a bouncing baby boy. This sweet layout has been crafted using items from the newly launched Baby collection and, although it's been designed with a baby boy in mind, it can easily be altered for a girl with a quick colour change.

Read on for a full step-by-step project tutorial, complete with a materials list linked so you can click each product to go to its respective web page, making it easy for you to shop.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Trim a sheet of Vista pearl card to 7¾” square and affix to a card blank using dries-clear glue. Trim a sheet of Crystal White card to 7½” square and a sheet of patterned paper to 7¼” square, then matt and layer together using foam pads. Tie a piece of ribbon around the centre and affix at the back. Affix onto the card using foam pads.

2 Die-cut four gilded rectangles, one from Vista card, one from patterned paper and two from Crystal White pearl card. Using a Quickie glue pen, apply glue to the debossed line on the largest shape. Cover in Blue Icicle Sparkelicious glitter and affix one of each rectangle to the card using foam pads. Take the last rectangle and tear a piece off. Affix this to the card using foam pads. Apply lines of glue and cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter.

3 Stamp out the teddy, bow and the baby blocks onto white card using a black Versafine inkpad and heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating dies, then colour in using alcohol markers. Glitter using dries-clear glue, Blue Icicle and Stardust Silver Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads.

4 Add a few peals to the background and the corners of the card. Tie a triple bow an affix to the side of the card. Add a sparkler to the centre.

5 Stamp out ‘welcome’ and ‘little one’ onto Crystal White card using a black Versafine inkpad. Heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Affix to the card using foam pads to finish.
