Wonderful Birthday - Leafy Lace Collection Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

We have a really pretty, delicate-looking birthday card for you today, created by our very talented Design Team member, Glynis. Featuring a wide range of items from the brand-new Leafy Lace collection, Glynis has produced this wonderful birthday card that could be adapted to many other occasions too.

YOU WILL NEED: 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Cut three different size matts in Lagoon mirror card, Aquamarine pearl card, and patterned paper from the Beautiful Bouquet paper pad. Glitter around the four sides of Aquamarine matt with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter, matt and layer all three together and attach to the base card.

2 Using the Leafy Lace Frame die set, cut the second die in the set in Lagoon mirror card. On top of this, matt and layer paper from the Beautiful Bouquet paper pad and secure onto the main card with foam pads. Decorate the corners using the pearls from the Leafy Lace Bling Box.

3 Die-cut the largest die from the Leafy Lace Background die set in Crystal White pearl card and glitter with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Cut the second die in Lagoon mirror card and attach to the top of the white die-cut panel.

4 Die-cut the third and fourth die from the Leafy Lace Background die set in Crystal White pearl card. Place a double-sided sticky sheet onto white card and die-cut with the third die in the set. Remove the top and attach the die-cut piece directly on top, cover with Sky's the Limit Sparkelicious glitter, dust off any excess glitter, and matt and layer to the main card.

5 Stamp, heat-emboss and fussy cut the Mystical Flower numerous times in Aquamarine pearl card and vellum using the WOW! Uptown embossing powder and clear embossing inkpad. Blend Peacock Feathers over the back of the vellum, glitter all the petals with Sky's the Limit Sparkelicious glitter and, when dry, shape the petals and adhere the flowers together using Pinflair glue gel. Die-cut the stamens from the Stamen die in silver mirror card. Decorate with pearls from the Leafy Lace Bling Box and secure into the middle of the flowers along with a large pearl from the bling box.

6 Die-cut the Leafy Foliage in silver mirror card, the Berry Foliage in white card and the Beautiful Bouquet Foliage in Lagoon glitter card. Decorate the Berry Foliage using Art Glitter glue and Ice Breaker Sparkelicious glitter and secure the flowers and foliage onto the main card with Pinflair glue gel.  

7 Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment from the Birthday Happiness A6 stamp set using Versafine Clair black ink and WOW! Clear Gloss embossing powder. Die-cut using the third die from the Leafy Lace Hexagon die set, brush around the four sides with the Peacock Feathers Oxide inkpad and attach to the main card with foam pads to finish.
