Baby Owls - Frosty Christmas Card Tutorial – Chloes Creative Cards

The results are spectacular so we're sharing it with you so that you are able to re-create it yourself.

How adorable are these baby owls that are getting themselves ready for the excitement of Christmas morning? This super-cute card has been made using a selection of items from the newly-launched Frosty Christmas collection and features the Baby Owls stamp set as its main focus! Read on full a full step-by-step project tutorial.

YOU WILL NEED:

Chloe’s Creative Cards Frosty Christmas collection:

8x8” card blank
Sparkelicious glitter – Chilli Pepper, Crystal Crush, Silver Crystal, Holly Leaves and Mystical Moonlight
WOW embossing powder – Opaque Bright White, Clear Gloss
Chloe’s Creative Cards pearl card – Vista, Jupiter, Crystal White
Blue mirror card
Blue ribbon bow
Assorted coloured marker pens
Versafine inkpad – Black
WOW embossing inkpad – Clear
3D Foam pads
3D glue gel
Art Glitter Dries-Clear glue with fine-tip nozzle
Die-cutting machine
Heat gun

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Stamp and heat-emboss the Baby Owls stamp twice onto Crystal White pearl card. Colour and glitter one in entirely with the marker pens and Sparkelicious glitters. For the other one, colour and glitter the Baby Owls, stocking, and weather cone. Fussy cut these and attach them to the main image with Pinflair glue. Matt and layer onto Vista Pearl card and then onto Crystal White pearl card, glittering the edges of the white piece with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter.

2 Trim a sheet of blue mirror card to size and attach it to the base card. Next, using the Snowflake Frame die set, cut the two largest dies in Crystal White Pearl card and add Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter around the sides.

3 Matt and layer on top of the largest Snowflake Frame die-cut Jupiter Pearl card and patterned paper from the Christmas Festive Fashion paper pad and secure onto the base card with foam pads.

4 Repeat this process, only this time using the smaller Snowflake Frame die-cut and attach with 3D foam pads. Matt and layer the Baby Owls on top, attaching once again with 3D foam pads.

5 Fix the bow in place on the right-hand corner with Pinflair glue and attach a large pearl. Using Art Glitter Dries-Clear glue, glue the pearls from the Frosty Christmas Bling Box onto the large Snowflake Frame.

6 Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment from the Snowflake Sentiment stamp and die set onto Crystal White pearl card using the Versafine Clair Black inkpad and WOW Clear Gloss embossing powder. Matt and layer onto a piece of Jupiter Pearl card and attach using 3D foam pads.
