Chloe's 12 Projects of Christmas - Day 6 - Gingerbread Kisses

Hello Christmas crafters!
Welcome to day six of our 12 Projects of Christmas series - the 2023 edition!

Create a cute Christmas card that looks good enough to eat with today's festive offering, featuring items from the Candy Cane Lane collection.

YOU WILL NEED:

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Trim Jupiter pearl card to 7¾” square and edge with a chisel-tip glue pen, then cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using Dries-clear glue. Trim a sheet of Rose Quartz pearl card to 7½” square and edge in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads. Trim a sheet of pattered paper to 7¼” square and affix to the card using Dries-clear glue. Trim Crystal White pearl card to 6¾” square, edge in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter, then affix to the card using foam pads.

2 Cut a 6½”-square panel of Crystal White pearl card and stamp some of the candy lollipops to the background using the clear embossing inkpad. Heat-emboss using Rudolph’s Red Nose embossing powder. Infill the candy lollipops using Dries-clear glue and cover in Pink Perfection Sparkelicious glitter. Once dry, affix to the card using Dries-clear glue.

3 Tear a strip of Crystal White pearl card to create a hill and affix to the card using foam pads, as shown. Apply scribbles of glue to the hill and cover in Winter Wonderland Sparkelicious glitter.

4 Stamp the Gingerbread House onto Rose Quartz pearl card using the clear embossing inkpad and heat-emboss using Rudolph’s Red Nose embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating die. Embellish using Red Poinsettia Sparkelicious glitter, fluffy stuff covered in Pink Perfection Sparkelicious glitter, and some clay candies. Carefully, tuck in behind the hill and secure in place using foam pads.

5 Stamp the gingerbread girl onto white card using the Onyx Black inkpad and heat-set using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating die, then colour in using alcohol markers. Apply Dries-clear glue to the bow and the trim on her dress and cover in Red Poinsettia Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads, then add a few candies to her dress.

6 Die cut two medium solid and two detailed poinsettias from Jupiter pearl card and the same from Rose Quartz pearl card. Cut two small solid and two detailed poinsettias from Jupiter pearl card and the same from Rose Quartz pearl card. Glitter the red detailed poinsettias in Red Poinsettia Sparkelicious glitter using a chisel-tip glue pen and the pink ones in Pink Perfection Sparkelicious glitter. Layer on of each colour together using 3D glue gel and affix to the card. Add a contrasting pearl to the centre of each.

7 Stamp one of the sentiments onto Crystal White pearl card using the clear embossing inkpad and heat-emboss using Rudolph’s Red Nose embossing powder. Add a few candies to the background to finish.
