Hello Crafters,
Create a pretty card for a nana with this terrific card tutorial by the lovely Christine using the brand-new 6x6" and 5x7" Decorative Die collection and a selection of beautiful dies, stamps, papers, and vellums from the website. A great thing about this card design is that it can be easily changed for any recipient with a simple change of the sentiment on the tag, so you can take inspiration no matter who you need to make a card for!

YOU WILL NEED:
- Decorative die sets – Square and Circle
- Stamen die set
- Swirly Foliage die set
- Flower Power stamp and die set
- Relatives stamp and die set
- Pearl card – Crystal White and Rose Quartz
- Mirror card – Rose Quartz
- Core vellum – Rose Quartz
- 8x8” paper pad – Flower Power
- Sparkelicious Glitter – Crystallina, Chunky Crystallina, and Unicorn Sparkle
- Sparklers – 12mm
- WOW! clear embossing inkpad
- WOW! embossing powder – Sparkling Snow and Opaque Bright White Superfine
- 3D foam pads on a roll
- Pinflair 3D glue gel
- Chloe’s Creative Cards chisel-tip glue pen
- Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue
- 8x8” white straight-edged card blank
- WOW! heat tool
- Die-cutting machine
INSTRUCTIONS:
1 Trim a sheet of Rose Quartz mirror card to 7¾x7¾” and affix to your card base using foam pads. Trim a sheet of Rose Quartz pearl card to 7½x7½”and a sheet of Crystal White pearl card to 7¼x7¼”. Glitter the edges of both layers with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and then matt and layer onto the card base using foam pads.
2 Die-cut four pieces of Rose Quartz pearl card using the fifth-largest die from the Decorative Squares die set and cover the edges with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut four squares of patterned paper from the Flower Power paper pad, then matt and layer onto the four decorative squares, as shown, and affix to the card front using foam pads.
3 Die-cut a piece of Rose Quartz pearl card using the largest die from the Decorative Circles die set and cover the edges with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut a piece of watercolour-effect paper from the Flower Power paper pad using the second-largest die from the same set, then matt and layer onto the card front using foam pads.
4 Die-cut nine large flowers from Chloe’s Core Vellum in Rose Quartz using the Flower Power stamp and die set. Stamp the vein details onto each flower using the stamp from the same set, then cover with Sparkling Snow embossing powder and heat set. Add dots of dries-clear adhesive to the petals and sprinkle with Chunky Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut three stamens from Crystal White pearl card and add Unicorn Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter to the tips of each stamen using dries-clear adhesive. Layer the flowers together, as shown, then add a 12mm Sparkler to the centre of each flower and affix to the card front.
5 Die-cut four Swirly Foliage stems from Crystal White pearl card, add Unicorn Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter to the swirls and affix either side of the flowers. Die-cut a piece of Crystal White pearl card using the fourth-largest banner die from the Relatives stamp and die set and cover the edges with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut a piece of Rose Quartz pearl card using the fifth-largest die from the same set. Stamp the sentiment using the clear embossing inkpad, cover with Opaque Bright White Superfine embossing powder and heat set. Cover the edges with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and then matt and layer both banners onto the card front, slightly tucked under the flowers to finish.
