Hello Crafters,
This gorgeous creation, using the newly-launched Beautiful Butterflies collection, is absolutely breath-taking! Although created as a birthday card in a pretty pink and green colour palette, by the incredible Rebecca, this stunning design could also be used for so many different occasions and in a wide range of colour combinations!
Read on for a full step-by-step project tutorial.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

Trim a sheet of Rose Quartz pearl card to 7¾”-square and affix to the card blank using dries-clear PVA glue. Trim a sheet of foiled paper from the paper pad to 7½”-square and affix to the card using foam pads. Using die 2 from the Blooming Border die set, cut from Crystal White pearl card and affix to the card blank using foam pads. Trim foiled paper slightly small and affix using dries-clear PVA glue.

2 Cut out die 3 from the Blooming Border set from Crystal White pearl card and apply glue to the decorative edge using a chisel-tip glue pen then cover in Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card on an angle using foam pads. Cut die 4 from Rose Quartz pearl card and edge in Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter. Affix using foam pads. For the last of the layers, cut die 5 from Crystal White pearl card and add Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter to the decorative edges. Add to the card using foam pads.

3 Stamp out the Grande Floral butterfly onto Crystal White pearl card and heat-emboss using Appletini embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating die. Apply Dries-clear glue to the leaves on the butterfly and cover in Lime Zing Sparkelicious glitter. Stamp out the butterfly and heat-emboss another two times onto Rose Quartz pearl paper. Cut out the flowers from the butterfly and add onto the previously stamped-out butterfly using foam pads for the first layer and 3D glue gel for the second layer. Add a crystal to the centre of each flower. Bend the wings upwards for dimension and affix to the card with 3D glue gel.

4 Stamp out the flower with leaves from the same stamp set as the butterfly twice onto Crystal White pearl card and heat-emboss using Appletini embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating die. Stamp out four more times onto Rose Quartz pearl paper and fussy cut. Add Lime Zing Sparkelicious glitter to the leaves and add onto the pink flowers using 3D glue gel. Add a crystal to the centre, then affix to the corner of the card.

5 Die-cut the Filigree Happy Birthday sentiment from Crystal White pearl card and stamp the sentiment, heat-embossing using Candy Pink Sparkle embossing powder. Add to the card using foam pads. Finally, add a few self-adhesive crystals to the Grande Floral Butterfly and to some of the corners, as shown.
