Floral birthday card making step by step

We all need a little inspiration every now and again. This simple, sparkly floral trio birthday card will help you celebrate with your friends and family. Why not try different coloured cardstock and embossing glitter for a different look?

You’ll need:

  • Stamps by Chloe Issue 3 Box Kit stamp set & paper pack
  • White 6”-square card blank
  • White cardstock
  • Silver Dollar, Diamond White & Appletini Stamps by Chloe WOW! embossing glitter
  • Grasshopper, Razzle Dazzle & Radiant Stamps by Chloe Sparkelicious glitter
  • Self-adhesive jewels
  • Pearl & Diamante Rosette Bling Stones
  • Clear WOW! embossing pad
  • 3D foam pads
  • Heat tool
  • Scissors

Instructions

1 – Cut a 5¾” square of patterned paper, affix to the card front, edge with PVA glue then cover with Razzle Dazzle glitter. Add a 5¼” square of a different patterned paper and attach using 3D foam pads.

2 – Cut a 5” square of white cardstock, stamp the leaf vine along the bottom three times using a clear embossing pad, cover with Appletini embossing glitter and heat to set.

3 – Stamp a sentiment in the top-right corner using a clear embossing pad, cover with Silver Dollar embossing glitter and heat to set. Fill the leaves with PVA glue and cover with Grasshopper glitter.

4 – Stamp six medium flowers onto patterned paper using a clear embossing pad, cover with Diamond White Embossing Glitter and heat to set.

5 – Cut out the flowers, shape the petals by pinching down the centre of the petals, layer two flowers together, affixing in the centre, then add a Bling Stone to the centre of each one. Secure to the card front, then add jewels to finish.
