How to Make Holly and Candy Wreath Christmas Card

Create this beautiful Holly and Candy Wreath Christmas Card for your loved ones following these simple steps. Made using traditional Christmas colours you can add your own twist in whatever colours you like. Don’t forget the sparkle!

You’ll need:

• Sparkelicious Glitter – Happy Holly Days
• WOW Embossing Glitter – Sparkling Cranberry
• WOW Embossing Glitter – Mercury Glass
• Sparkelicious Glitter – Grasshopper
• Sparkelicious Glitter – Radiant
• Chloe Luxury Pearl Card Jupiter
• Green Patterned Paper from stash
• 7×7 Red Pearl Card Blank
• Self Adhesive Jewels
• Red Sheer Ribbon
• Bling Stone for Bow
• Green Pen to colour Holly Leaves

Instructions:

Step 1

Cut a piece of Jupiter pearl card to 7 ½” square and a piece of green patterned paper to 7” square.  Matt them together and edge green piece using PVA glue with a fine tip applicator. Cover with Happy Holly Days glitter, affix to the base card using foam pads.

Step 2

Cut a piece of white card to 5 ¾” square. Dust with an anti-static bag randomly stamp candy cane using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with Sparkling Cranberry embossing glitter and heat to set.

Step 3

Infill the candy cane stripes with PVA glue and cover with Happy Holly Days glitter. Allow to dry then edge using a chisel tip glue pen cover with Radiant glitter. Matt onto a piece fo Jupiter pearl card measuring 6” square and affix to the base card using foam pads.

Step 4

Cut a piece of white card to 4 ½” square dust with an anti-static bag stamp Holly Wreath in the centre using a clear embossing ink pad. Cover with Mercury Glass embossing glitter heat to set.

Step 5

Next, colour in the holly leaves using a green pen then apply dots of PVA glue to the berries and cover with Happy Holly Days glitter. Infill the holly leaves and cover with Grasshopper glitter.

Step 6

Apply dots of PVA glue to the background of the wreath and cover with Grasshopper glitter.

Step 7

Stamp 4 sweets and 4 candies onto white card using a clear embossing ink pad and cover with Mercury Glass embossing glitter heat to set. Then, infill using PVA glue and cover with happy Holly Days glitter, allow to dry then cut out the sweets, affix to Wreath using 3D glue gel.

Step 8

Edge piece using a chisel tip glue pen, cover with Radiant glitter. Matt onto a piece of Jupiter pearl card.

Step 9

Cut a piece of green patterned paper to 5” square, layer together with wreath using foam pads and affix to the base card using foam pads.

Step 10

Stamp Happy Christmas sentiment onto a piece of white pearl card using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with Mercury Glass embossing glitter, heat to set cut out sentiment and affix in centre of wreath using foam pads.

Step 11

Complete card by adding self-adhesive jewels in the corners and adding a bow with bling stone in the top left corner.
