How to Make Red Sparkly Clematis Card

Glynis has been crafting up a storm in her craft room with the latest release from Chloes Creative Cards. Today I've got this amazing red Clematis Flower project to share with you all on the blog. In this step-by-step project Glynis will take you through how to create these fabulous 3D Clematis Flowers along with adding sparkling spring foliage behind! Why not try changing this card up by changing the colours up! I'd love to see what you create a home in the Stamps by Chloe Facebook Group!

To make this project you will need -

How to make the project ...

  1. Cut down a piece of Onyx card slightly smaller than the base card and glitter all the sides with the Disco Ball Sparkelicious and Art Glitter glue, mat and layer on to the top of this a piece of the red paper from the paper pack and attach to base card.
  2. Die cut the largest circle in white, the next die in Onyx card and the next die in the red dot paper, miss 2 or 3 dies and then die cut the next one in Onyx card and the last one in white, glitter all around the edges of both of the Onyx circles with Disco Ball Sparkelicious.
  3. Mat and layer the red dot circle and the largest Onyx circle onto the large white one and attach to base card with foam pads, score 6 lines down the left hand side of the white circle and attach this to the smaller Onyx circle and mat and layer onto the base card with foam pads.
  4. Stamp and heat emboss the Clematis Flower in Bright White embossing powder onto the vellum 9 times, turn the vellum over and colour with the Barn Door Oxide Ink, turn over to the front and apply the Tutti Frutti Sparkelicious to the leaves and when completely dry cut out, mould into shape and assemble.
  5. Stamp and heat emboss onto white the large leaves using the Key Lime embossing powder, glitter with Grasshopper Sparkelicious and fussy cut, stamp and heat emboss the small foliage stamp onto acetate using the Bright White embossing powder, glitter with Disco Ball and fussy cut.
  6. Arrange all the assembled flowers and leaves onto the right hand side of the base card and secure in place with Pinflair. Stamp and heat emboss the sentiment stamp in Pumpkin Spice embossing powder onto white card and mat and layer onto Onyx card, not forgetting to glitter the sides with the Disco Ball Sparkelicious and attach with foam tape.
