INSTRUCTIONS:
1 Die-cut the largest Fancy Rectangle from a card blank. Ensure the edge is overhanging the card spine slightly to make a shaped card blank. Die-cut the same die from Aquamarine pearl card. Edge with a chisel-tip glue pen then cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card blank using dries-clear glue. Die-cut the second die from a sheet of patterned paper then affix to the card using foam pads. Die-cut the fourth die from Crystal White pearl card then stamp the fairy to the side of this piece using an Onyx Black inkpad and heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Apply Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass Oxide ink to the fairy’s wings then affix to the card using foam pads.
2 Stamp the fairy’s wings onto vellum using an Onyx Black inkpad and heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder then, carefully, cut out. Apply Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass Oxide ink to the back of the fairy’s wings. Affix to the fairy using a small amount of dries-clear glue to the base of the wings only, so it allows the wings to move. Apply scribbles of dries-clear glue to the wings and cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Draw a few lines at the bottom of the fairy and cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter.
3 Stamp the small butterfly onto vellum using an Onyx Black inkpad and heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Apply scribbles of dries-clear glue to the wings and cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix the body of the butterfly to the fairy’s hand so the wings can move.
4 Stamp a sentiment onto Crystal White pearl card using an Onyx Black inkpad then heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Trim and matt onto Aquamarine pearl card then affix to the card using foam pads. Add a few sequins to the background along with some self-adhesive sparkles. Tie a triple bow and affix to the card using 3Dglue gel then add a sparkler to the centre to finish.
I hope you've found this beautiful card tutorial informative and that it's inspired you to create your own version!
