Wonderful Birthday Book Style Card Project

Glynis has been crafting up a storm using the brand new large nesting dies! Just look at this fabulous Book Style project she has created ... there is even a sneak peek at our Summer Meadows Paper Pad which is coming soon!

What you'll need to make this project -

How to make it ...

  1. Score and fold the A3 card in half (21 cm on a large score board), place the largest die from the set length ways with the left hand side just slightly hanging over the fold and die cut, now turn the card side ways and score and fold across from the points on either side of the what is now a base card, bring this part forward and apply the double side tape only on this bottom part, using the same size die cut one more piece in white card and attach to the part with the double sided tape.
  2. Using the second die in cut two different coloured pieces of paper from the Summer Meadows Paper Pad (these can be place together and cut at once), glitter around all the sides with the Crystallina Sparkelicious and mat and layer onto the base card when dry with double sided tape.
  3. Die cut the number three die in white card, score either side of the top and bottom points and place double sided tape down this channel and mount onto the main card, to make the pages rise slightly use foam pads at the edge of each side.
  4. Repeat this process only this time use the next die down in the set and glitter the side with Crystallina Sparkelicious.
  5. Die cut numbers eleven and twelve in white card leaving the largest one in the die and colour with Wild Honey Oxide Ink, stamp the sentiment in WOW Metallic Silver Embossing Powder, mat and layer together and place onto the bottom of the base card with foam pads.
  6. Die cut the Rose Mallow in plain paper from the Summer Meadows Paper Pad, glitter the edges with the Crystallina Sparkelicious and assemble into a flower when dry, stamp the different leaves in WOW Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder onto acetate and fussy cut and then glitter them with the Silver Frost and Disco Fever Sparkelicious.
  7. When dry arrange flowers and leaves onto the base card and secure in place with Pinflair, finally place black jewels into the middle of the flowers, cut thin slivers of white pearl paper, use a quilling tool to curl them or the thin end of a paint brush and glue into place around the flowers and leaves.
I hope you enjoy recreating this project and I can't wait to see your makes in the Stamps by Chloe Facebook Group!
Happy Crafting!
