We didn't think we could top our original ink pad—after all, it’s been the backbone of thousands of craft rooms for years. But after a long stint in the "lab" with the technical geniuses over at WOW!, we’ve managed to take everything you loved about our classic formula and give it a serious upgrade.

It’s the same reliable quality you know, just... better in every way.

The Details

• The Gift of Time: One of the most common frustrations in heat embossing is the "mad dash" to get your powder on before the ink dries. We’ve significantly extended the open-time of this formula. Whether you’re working on a massive, intricate background or you just need a bit more breathing room, this ink stays tacky and receptive for a fantastic length of time. No rushing, no stress—just a perfect, reliable "grab" every time.

• High-Definition Detail: This isn't just about sticking powder to paper. This new formula is designed to hold the crispest, finest lines. It actually enhances your regular powders, giving them the sharp, refined finish you’d usually only expect from Super Fine powders.

• The Ergonomic Oval: We’ve moved to a new, curved pad shape. It’s much more natural to hold—especially if you're doing a big stamping session or have any manual dexterity issues—and it gives you way more control over exactly where you’re applying the ink.

• Acid-Free: We know how much heart goes into your projects. This formula is acid-free, ensuring that your cards, layouts, and mixed media pieces stay as crisp and vibrant as the day you made them.

Getting the Most from Your Pad (The "Pro" Way)

Because this pad is incredibly juicy and the premium sponge has a lot of "bounce," it works a little differently than your old felt pads. To get those professional-grade results, keep these two tips in mind:

1. The Gentle Tap: You don't need to press! This pad is so loaded with ink that a light, feather-touch tap onto your stamp is all you need. If you’re used to a drier pad, your instinct might be to "smush" it—resist the urge! A gentle touch prevents flooding the fine details of your stamp.

   • Top Tip: If you think you might have been a bit heavy-handed, just stamp off onto a piece of scrap paper first to clear any excess before taking it to your project.

2. The Brayer Method: For covering large areas or creating backgrounds, we’ve found that using a brayer is the absolute gold standard. Rolling a brayer over the pad and then onto your card ensures a perfectly even, velvet-smooth layer. It avoids wasting ink and ensures your powder doesn't "puddle," giving you that crisp, clear, true-to-colour finish we all crave.

A Quick Note on Reinkers

We know the first thing many of you ask when a new pad drops is: "Where’s the reinker?"

Because the Ultimate Embossing Ink Pad is so exceptionally juicy and designed with that high-performance, bouncy sponge, it’s going to last you an incredibly long time. You really won’t be needing a top-up for quite a while, so we won't be releasing a dedicated reinker for this specific formula just yet. We want you to enjoy the "haul" and see just how far this pad goes first!

Love your original pad? Don’t worry—we’ve got you. If you’re still happily using our classic ink pad, we’ll be keeping the original formula reinkers and our handy brush tools in stock. We’re committed to making sure your current kit stays in tip-top shape while you decide when to make the "Ultimate" upgrade.

UK Standard Delivery - Royal Mail Tracked 48 -  items are sent within 3 working days days (this may be prolonged to 7 days during busy periods). these items are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Your tracking information will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. Royal Mail aims to deliver your order within 2-3 working days from collection of your order; please note this is not a guaranteed service.

Royal Mail Tracked 24 - items are sent within 3 working days (this may be prolonged to 7 days during busy periods). These items are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Your tracking information will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. Royal Mail aim to deliver your order within 1-2 working days from collection of your order, please note this is not a guaranteed service.

UK Express Delivery - DPD - items are sent within 2 working days on a UK next day service; some remote areas may be 2 days. Your tracking number will be emailed to you so you can check the progress of your parcel. You will be emailed detailed DPD tracking and DPD Predict, where you will be given a one-hour delivery slot for your parcel. You can also divert your delivery to a parcel shop to collect or nominate a neighbour or safe place to leave your order. Please note this is not a guaranteed next day service, there can be circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather) which can sometimes delay delivery, DPD will inform you of this.

Europe Standard Delivery items are sent via a Royal Mail Tracked Service, once an order is dispatched your tracking number will be added to your order so you can track the progress of your parcel. The delivery aim varies depending on the delivery country and is usually up to 7 working days - this delivery aim does not include any time your parcel may be held in customs as we don't have any control over this. 

USA Economy Delivery items are sent via a Royal Mail Tracked Service, your tracking number will be emailed to you upon dispatch of your order so you can track the progress of your parcel. The delivery aim varies depending on the delivery state and is usually up to 10 working days - this delivery aim does not include any time your parcel may be held in customs as we don't have any control over this. 

USA Express Delivery items are sent via DHL, your tracking number will be added to your order upon dispatch so you can track the progress of your parcel, depending on the country delivering to this is usually within 5 working days.

Please note that working days are classed as Monday-Friday.

On international shipments, Chloes Creative Cards is not responsible for any  fees, customs or taxes, these are the responsibility of the customer to pay.

USA Shipping

All US orders are sent via Royal Mail (these are then delivered in the US via USPS) due to the current tariffs that have been applied on goods from outside of the US we have applied a 15% increase across all prices on our US website. This is to help subsidise the tariffs that have are applied and are pre-paid by ourselves - so there will be no additional tariffs to pay on delivery of the goods.

Europe Shipping

European shipping is now open at Chloes Creative Cards! 

Due to Brexit we are experiencing some temporary shipping restrictions. This means that orders with a value of €150 or more cannot be sent to Europe. If you would like to place a larger value order we would recommend splitting the order into 2 so that no duties or taxes are attracted. Whilst we appreciate this isn't ideal, we're delighted to reopen shipping to Europe.

Duties and Taxes

We are IOSS registered so any orders below €150 and delivered within the EU (except Italy) will not attract any additional duties or taxes, as we pre-pay the VAT on your behalf on orders below €150.

Italy has introduced a €2 surcharge for all items delivered from outside of the EU under €150, this is collected from you directly by the postal service before your order is delivered.

If your order is delivered outside of the EU, Duties and Taxes may be incurred, these are levied once your parcel reaches your delivery country. Chloes Creative Cards does not collect duties and taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges might be. If your parcel does incur these additional charges, they must be paid in order for your parcel to clear customs. For more information regarding your country's customs policies, please contact your local customs office.
