Dimensional Snowflake - Frosty Christmas Cardmaking Project

Hello Crafters,
For wintry-themed cardmaking inspiration, look no further than this fabulous card tutorial by our super-talented Design Team member, Glynis! The beauty about this card is, with a few tweaks, you could adapt the design for other occasions, like wintry birthdays and festive weddings. Glynis has used a great selection of our popular seasonal products in this card, and we love the results so much that we HAD to share it with you so that you are able to re-create it yourself.
Read on for a full step-by-step project tutorial.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

Trim a sheet of Crystal White pearl cardstock to fit the base card, then add Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter around the four sides. Attach a piece of silver mirror card on top and secure onto the base card with 3D foam pads.

2 Using the Snowflake Frame die set, cut the largest one out of Crystal White pearl cardstock, then add Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter around the four sides. Matt and layer on top of a piece of gold mirror card and patterned paper from the Celebration Foiled paper pad, then secure onto the base card with 3D foam pads.

3 For the next layer, die-cut the second die in the Snowflake Frame die set using gold mirror card. Matt and layer on top of a piece of Crystal White pearl cardstock, glittering the edges using Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter and a piece of patterned paper from the White Christmas Foiled paper pad. Attach to the main card with 3D foam pads.

4 Using two different size dies from the Extra-Large Heart die set, cut one in gold mirror card and one in Crystal White pearl cardstock. Glitter the edges of the white one with Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter, then matt and layer the two hearts together using foam pads and secure onto the base card with 3D foam pads.

5 Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut the Dimensional Snowflake numerous times onto Fine Gold pearl cardstock using the WOW Bright White embossing powder. Add Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter, adhere together with Pinflair glue, and secure onto the base card. From the same set stamp, heat-emboss, die-cut and glitter the small heart and stars.

6 Secure the bow onto the left-hand corner of the large heart die-cut shape and attach the small heart into the middle.

7 Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment onto Crystal White pearl cardstock using the WOW Metallic Gold embossing powder. Die-cut using a small heart-shaped die from the set, matt and layer onto a larger heart die-cut shape, then attach to the main card.

8 Secure the small stars in place, then dot Art Glitter Dries-Clear glue around the Dimensional Snowflake and cover with Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Finally, attach the jewels from the Festive Fancies Bling Box using Art Glitter Dries-Clear glue.
