Hello Crafters,
Create a pretty floral card that's bursting into life with the brand new Floral Frames and Flutters collection! The talented Christine, one of our much-loved DT members, has crafted this beautiful card using lots of great techniques for a brilliantly dimensional and tactile finish.

YOU WILL NEED:
- Floral Frames and Flutters collection:
- Fabulous Floral Frame stamp and die set
- Elegant Flower die set
- Fabulous Florals and Flutters 8x8” designer paper pad
- Fabulous Florals foiled acetate
- 8x8” Pierced and Scalloped Circle die set
- A4 vellum – Summer Floral Washes
- Luxury pearl card – Crystal White
- A4 printed paper pad – Pastel Sorbet
- Bling Box – Spring Collection
- Self-Adhesive Sparkles – Pretty Pinks
- Sparklers – 10mm and 12mm
- WOW! clear embossing inkpad
- WOW! embossing powder – Polished Gold Superfine
- Sparkelicious glitter – Crystallina, Sugared Peach, Watermelon Crush, Rainbow Red, Golden Blush, Absolutely Pink, Mexican Sunrise, and Sweet Pink
- Coloured marker pens – green, peach, and deep pink
- Foam pads on a roll
- Chloe’s Creative Cards chisel-tip glue pen
- Pinflair glue gel
- Art Glitter Dries-Clear Glue
- 8x8” white straight-edged card blank
- Heat tool
- A4 die-cutting machine
INSTRUCTIONS:
1 Trim a sheet of peach paper from the Pastel Sorbet paper pad to 7¾” square, edge with Crystallina glitter and affix to the card base using foam pads. Trim a sheet of Crystal White pearl card to 7½” square and pink paper from the Pastel Sorbet paper pad to 7¼” square, edge both with Crystallina glitter and then matt and layer onto the card front using foam pads. Trim a sheet of pink and peach floral paper from the Fabulous Florals and Flutters 8x8” paper pad to 7” square, edge with Crystallina glitter and affix to the card front using foam pads. Trim a sheet of Crystal White pearl card to 6¼” square and a sheet of pink grid patterned paper from the Fabulous Florals and Flutters paper pad to 6” square. Edge both with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and then matt and layer onto the card front at an angle, as shown, using foam pads.
2 Using the fourth-largest die from the Pierced and Scalloped Circles die set, die-cut a sheet of peach paper from the Pastel Sorbet A4 paper pad, then edge with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Using the fifth-largest die from the same set, die-cut from Crystal White pearl card, then, using the sixth-largest die, cut from pink paper from the Pastel Sorbet paper pad. Matt and layer all three layers onto the card front using foam pads, then attach to the card front using 3D foam pads.
3 Stamp the Floral Frame image onto Crystal White pearl card using the WOW! clear embossing inkpad, cover with Polished Gold Superfine embossing powder and heat set. Die-cut the image using the corresponding die from the same set. Stamp the sentiment from the same Floral Frame stamp and die set onto the inside-centre of the frame using the embossing inkpad. Cover with Polished Gold Superfine embossing powder and heat set.
4 Colour the flower and foliage with marker pens then cover with Art Glitter Dries-Clear glue and add a combination of Sugared Peach, Watermelon Crush, Absolutely Pink, Mexican Sunrise, and Sweet Pink Sparkelicious glitter to the flowers and Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter to the foliage. Affix the completed floral topper to the card front, as shown, using foam pads.
5 Using the solid dies from the Filigree Flowers die set, die-cut four large and four medium flowers from Summer Floral Washes vellum. Add dots of Dries-clear adhesive, sprinkle with Rainbow Red Sparkelicious glitter, and layer up the flowers using 3D glue gel to give you two large and one medium flower, as shown. Add a 12mm Sparkler to the centre of each large flower and a 10mm Sparkler to the medium flower. Affix the flowers to the card front, as shown, using 3D glue gel.
6 Using the medium-sized flower die from the Floral Frame stamp and die set and the Summer Floral Washes vellum, cut four small flowers. Add dots of Dries-clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rainbow Red Sparkelicious glitter. Layer the flowers to make two small flowers and add a pink gem from the Spring Bling Box to the centre of each smaller flower. Affix the flowers to the floral frame, as shown, using 3D glue gel.
7 Fussy cut four branches from the gold-foiled acetate sheet. Add dots of Dries-clear adhesive to the tips of each leaf and sprinkle with Golden Blush Sparkelicious glitter. Once dry, affix to the card by tucking under the flowers using 3D glue gel. Fussy cut a butterfly from the gold foiled acetate sheet, coat with Dries-clear adhesive on the reverse and cover with Watermelon Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Add two pink Self-Adhesive Sparkles to the centre of the butterfly and affix to the cards front, as shown, using 3D Glue Gel. Add pink gems from the Spring Collection Bling Box to the corners of the card and add some Pretty Pinks Self-Adhesive Sparkles around the Floral Frame topper to finish.
