Hello Crafters,
Today, we have an extra-special, dimensional birthday card from Design Team member, Glynis. This card could also be easily changed into a wedding card due to the cake design taking centre-stage! Glynis uses the brand-new Leafy Lace collection along with a selection of products from the recent Build a Bouquet launch for this spectacular creation.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1 Trim a sheet of Azalea mirror card and secure onto the base card. Using the Leafy Lace Frame die set, cut the largest die in Crystal White pearl card and glitter around the four sides using Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter then attach to the main card with foam pads. From the same die set, cut patterned paper from either the Summer Florals or the Beautiful Bouquet pads using the second die. Matt and layer this piece onto Azalea mirror card and attach to the base card.
2 Die-cut the third die from the Leafy Lace Frame die set in Azalea mirror card. Matt and layer on top of this a piece of Crystal White pearl card where the four sides have been glittered with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Die-cut patterned paper from one of the pads using the fourth die from the set, matt and layer on top of the Crystal White card and attach the topper to the main card with foam pads.
3 For the third layer, die-cut the fourth die in Azalea mirror card, number five in Crystal White pearl card and number six in patterned paper. Glitter around the four sides of the white die-cut piece using Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Secure this piece onto the Azalea die-cut panel with foam pads and attach to the base card, also with foam pads. Matt and layer the small, patterned die-cut piece onto a piece of Azalea Mirror card and secure onto the topper.
4 Using the stamp from the Wedding Cake stamp and die set, stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut the cake five times onto Crystal White pearl card using Versafine Clair black ink and WOW! Clear Gloss embossing powder. For the bottom layer of the cake, just glitter the top tier with Sweetheart Sparkelicious glitter. For the next layer, cut off the top tier, colour with a pink marker pen and glitter with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. For the next tier, cut off the two top tiers and add Sweetheart Sparkelicious glitter. For the last tier, colour and glitter as before, then matt and layer the four sections together using Pinflair glue gel. Colour the roses on the last image, fussy cut, attach to the main cake with Pinflair glue gel, and secure the jewels from the Sparkling Silvers Self-adhesive Sparkles set in place.
5 Using the Beautiful Bouquet Blossom stamp and die set, stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut onto Azalea pearl card and vellum numerous times using Bright White embossing powder and a clear embossing inkpad. Colour the back of the vellum flowers using the Picked Raspberry Oxide ink.
6 Glitter the petals of each flower using the Sweetheart Sparkelicious glitter. When dry, shape and adhere together with Pinflair glue gel. Die-cut the stamens using the Stamen die in silver mirror card, decorate with jewels from the Beautiful Bouquet Bling Box, glitter large jewels using the Art Glitter glue and Sweetheart Sparkelicious glitter, and secure the stamens and jewels into the middle of the flowers. Die-cut the Leafy Foliage in silver mirror card and attach the flowers and foliage to the top right-hand corner of the base card.
7 Stamp, heat-emboss and die-cut the sentiment from the Birthday Happiness A6 stamp set, brush the four sides with the Picked Raspberry Oxide ink and attach with foam pads. Decorate the second layer with jewels from the Beautiful Bouquet Bling Box to finish.
