How to use our Geometric Background and Clematis Flower Stamps

Up on the YouTube channel today I wanted to show you how you could create this stunning gatefold, using the newest products from Chloes Creative Cards! I'll be teaching you how to create a stunning glittery background using the new Geometric Background stamp, and how to use our new Clematis Flower Stamp and Die to create these stunning 3D Blooms!

To make this project you are going to need -

  1. Take 2 7x7" card blanks, fold along the score line, and cut 3 1/2" off the front of each card blank.
  2. Affix card blanks together to create a gatefold card.
  3. Cut 2 pieces of Rose Quartz Pearl Card slightly small than the gatefold card front, edge using a chisel tip glue pen and cover with crystallina glitter, affix to base card.
  4. Stamp Geometric Background onto Rose Quartz Pearl Card twice, cover using opaque bright white embossing powder and heat to set.
  5. Infill the squares using dries clear PVA glue with a fine tip applicator, cover with crystallina glitter.
  6. Allow glue to dry and then trim panels to 3" x 6 1/2", matt onto pieces of white card leaving a small border.
  7. Affix to base card using foam pads.
  8. Die cut a scalloped circle from white card, a smaller plain circle from Rose Quartz pearl card and a smaller circle still from white card.
  9. Dust the smallest circle with an anti static bag, stamp Birthday Sentiment stamp in the centre using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with metallic silver superfine embossing powder and heat to set.
  10. Edge both plain edge circles using a chisel tip glue pen and cover with crystallina glitter, matt and layer circles together using foam pads.
  11. Affix to the front of the card being sure just to glue the left side of the circle to allow the gatefold card to open.
  12. To create the flowers stamp two large, two medium and two small clematis flowers onto Rose Quartz pearl paper using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with WOW Opaque Bright White Superfine Embossing Powder and heat to set.
  13. Cut out the flowers.
  14. Apply dots of PVA glue to the stamens of the flowers and cover with Razzle Dazzle Glitter.
  15. Allow to dry, then curl the petals between your finger and thumb, using 3D glue gel layer the two flowers together.
  16. Stamp one large, one medium and one small clematis flower onto heat resistant acetate using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with Opaque Bright White Superfine Embossing Powder and heat to set.
  17. Cut out the flowers.
  18. Apply dots of PVA glue to the stamen of the flowers, cover with Razzle Dazzle glitter.
  19. Allow to dry, then shape the petals by pulling the petals towards you and putting a fold in base of the petals.
  20. Layer the acetate flowers ontop of the paper flowers using 3D glue gel.
  21. Affix flowers to base card as shown using 3D glue gel.
  22. Stamp four swirls onto heat resistant acetate using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with opaque bright white superfine embossing powder, heat to set.
  23. Apply dots of pearl PVA or liquid pearls to the swirls, allow to dry then cut out the swirls.
  24. Arrange swirls behind flowers as shown affixing with 3D glue gel at the base.
  25. Stamp six berry sprays onto heat resistant acetate using a clear embossing ink pad, cover with opaque bright white superfine embossing powder and heat to set.
  26. Apply dots of PVA glue to the berries and cover with unicorn sparkle glitter.
  27. Allow to dry then cut out the berry sprays.
  28. Arrange behind the flowers as shown affixing with 3D glue gel.
  29. Complete card by adding a pearl bead to the centre of the flowers and 3 pearls in the top right and bottom left corner.
