The 12 Projects of Christmas - Day 7 - Swirly Snowflake Flurry

Hello Christmas Crafters!
Welcome to day 7 of our 12 Projects of Christmas series! 
The combination of deep, dark blue and striking silver results in today's dramatic look from the talented DT member, Rebecca. Using the Swirly Snowflake Flurry stamp and die set and lots of glitter and sparkles, this stunning card really does deliver big impact!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Trim Lapis Lazuli pearl card to 7¾x7¾” and affix to the card blank using Dries-Clear glue. Trim silver mirror card to 7½x7½” and apply glue to a wide area around the edge. Cover in Frosty Christmas glitter. Once dry, affix to the card using Dries-Clear glue. Trim foiled paper down to 7¼x7¼” and affix to the card using foam pads. 

2 Next, cut a piece of Crystal White pearl card to 6¼x6¼” and a piece of Lapis Lazuli pearl card slightly smaller. Cut out two of the snowflake borders from Crystal White pearl card. Apply glue all over the border using a chisel-tip glue pen and cover in Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the Lapis Lazuli layer then onto the white layer using Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue. Add a few crystals into the centre of the snowflakes on the border. Affix a piece of ribbon around the centre and add onto the card using foam pads. 

3 Die-cut oval die number 8 from silver mirror card. Apply a thick border of glue around the edge and cover in Frosty Christmas Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads. Die-cut oval die number 9 from Crystal White pearl card and stamp out the snowflake swirl. Heat-emboss using Metallic Silver Sparkle embossing powder. Affix to the card using foam pads. Add dots of glue around the swirl and cover in Blue Icicle Sparkelicious glitter. Add more tiny dots of glue all around the image and cover in Glass Slipper Sparkelicious glitter. Add a few crystals onto the snowflakes. Die-cut the coordinating snowflake to layer onto the large snowflake. Cover in Dries-Clear glue and then Blue Icicle Sparkelicious glitter. Once dry, affix to the card using 3D glue gel. Add a crystal to the centre. 

4 Die-cut the Snowflake Sentiment Frame from Crystal White pearl card and affix to the card using a double layer of foam pads. Add a crystal to the centre of each of the snowflakes. Cut the smaller layer from Lapis Lazuli pearl card. Stamp out a sentiment and heat-emboss using Opaque Bright White embossing powder. Affix to the card using foam pads. 

5 Tie a double bow and affix to the card using 3D glue gel. Add a crystal to the centre. Add a few snowflake sequins into the background and a self-adhesive sparkle to the centre.
