Wedding Arch - Wedding Collection Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,
Today, Glynis shows us how to introduce characters onto your card designs when you're not confident with colouring or if you like the silhouette effect. This beautiful wedding arch card creation uses items from the newly-launched Wedding Collection along with a selection of floral stamps and dies for stunning results.
Read on for a full step-by-step project tutorial.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

Trim a sheet of silver mirror card to fit the base card and secure into place. Die-cut the first and third die from the Blooming Frames die set in Crystal White pearl card and glitter all the sides with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter.

2 Attach patterned paper from the Wedding Collection paper pad to the largest Blooming Frames die-cut shape and secure onto the main card with foam pads, then decorate with jewels from the Chloe’s Favourites Bling Box. For the smaller Blooming Frame die-cut shape, matt and layer onto a piece of silver mirror card and patterned paper from the paper pad, then attach to the main card with foam pads.

3 Die-cut two large ovals from the Extra-Large Oval die set, one in silver mirror card and one in paper from the Wedding Collection paper pad. Adhere together and secure onto the main card with foam pads.

4 Die-cut the Wedding Arch in silver mirror card. Cover a small piece of white card with the A4 double-sided sticky sheet, remove the top and cover with Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Use this glittered piece to die-cut the small elements from the Wedding Arch die set. Glue these small shapes into place using Art Glitter Dries-Clear glue. Decorate the arch with jewels from the Sparkling Silver Self-Adhesive Sparkles set and the Chloe’s Favourites Bling Box, then attach to the main card with the Art Glitter Dries-Clear PVA glue. Die-cut the bride and groom in silver mirror card and secure into place with foam pads.

5 Stamp, heat-emboss and fussy cut the Posy Flower image using WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder onto Crystal White pearl card. Shape the petals, glitter with Silver Gilt Sparkelicious glitter, adhere together with Pinflair glue gel, and secure onto the base card. Die-cut the stamens from the Christmas Rose stamp and die set in silver mirror card, attach to the middle of the flower, and secure a clear jewel into the middle to finish.
