Hi Crafty Friend, welcome to our 27th February weekly roundup!


With the weather slowly but surely starting to warm up (although it could still do with a reminder that we're almost in March now, so we should be putting our big coats in hibernation until the end of the year!), I've started to notice a shift in people's behaviour. There seems to be lots more smiles and positivity, waiting for the first signs of spring to awaken. And this is why this week, I've picked happy, upbeat themes for our weekly projects and Offer of the Week. We're talking bright colours and friendship celebrations!  

The first project we are sharing this week is a heartwarming friendship card that will certainly put a smile on someone's face. Then, with our YouTube tutorial, we're bringing you a birthday card that uses colours reminiscent of a sunset. And who doesn't like sunsets?! Our Offer of the Week features a glam, sassy lady, perfect for lots of happy occasions. Keep reading for more information.

YouTube of the Week...


Butterfly Fold Back Card Tutorial

I chose this gorgeous card for our YouTube of the Week as I love how the colours remind me of a sunset. There are also lots of dimensions, from the fluttering butterfly and the full, textured blooms, to the interesting fold-over feature on the patterned paper that showcases the double-sided patterns to great effect. I have used the recent Pretty Peonies launch for this look, and I hope you enjoy the video tutorial.
 
As with all of our YouTube of the Week card tutorials, you can craft along at your own pace... pause, rewind, and take your time as you go. Both Rebecca and I always share plenty of helpful hints and tips throughout each project in our video tutorials, making them ideal for both beginners finding their feet and more experienced crafters looking to pick up new ideas. It’s the next best thing to having us right there beside you, guiding you in a one-to-one workshop from the comfort of your own craft space.
